13th - WCPF Print Exhibition.
20th - Critique Evening with John Tilsley ARPS, DPAGB. Run as as Open Competition to let members practice with one of our Club judges to receive helpful feedback (images used can be shown again).
27th - Harry & Pam Blake - 3D Photography.
Enjoy photography in 3-dimension with members of the Stereoscopic Society.
October 2010
4th - John Davey FRPS "A Passion for Beauty".
B/W prints toned, pictorial, nature, architecture, landscapes and fine art nudes.
11th - Club Night Practical - bring ongoing work for discussion and feedback in small groups.
18th - Competition 1: Open - Judge Mac Bouchere FRPS, FBPPA. Our Judge tonight is a professional photographer with a wide range of photographic interests. He has recently relocated to the south-west from the Jersey where he continues to run photographic workshops
25th - Rod Fry ARPS - Contemporary Photography.
Prints panels & sequences of images on a particular theme motivated by thoughts feelings & emotions relating to the world around him & a desire to give meaning to it using photography as a subjective metaphor.
Rod is keen to get active participation from the audience. You are invited to about and look at the work during the talk. Rod will also bring his ARPS panel.
November 2010
1st - Wessex Battle - at the Corn Exchange.
Dorset Camera Clubs put forward their very best to compete for this annual trophy.
8th - Toby Branston - RSPB Double Bill.
Birds of Poole Harbour + Arne Reserve DPI
Toby is the warden of the Arne Reserve. Tonight he will introduce us to some of natural history delights of the region and talk about the work of the warden of an RSPB reserve.
15th - Focus on Nature Competition - Judge: Gill Cardy ARPS DPAGB. Competition for two trophies.
Please note the definition of Natural History photography that applies to this competition.
Our Judge is a well known Natural History photographer.
22nd - Ben Pipe "On the Road" Photography across Continents. A compilation of work from two years of traveling across Africa, New Zealand, Asia, USA & Central America
29th - Beaminster Exchange (at home).
5 members of each club give a 10 minute presentation.
December 2010
6th - Martin Edge Underwater Photography.
Martin is a well known underwater photographer and author.
13th - Competition 2: Movement - Judge Glyn Edmunds, ARPS, DPAGB
20th - Christmas Social - at Pannini's.
27th - Christmas - No club night

3rd - Bank Holiday - No club night
5th - Bridport Exchange at Bridport.
5 members of each club give a 10 minute presentation.
10th - Malcolm Kitto ARPS, DPGAB - A Digital Presentation.
From our own club member Malcolm will show us a long awaited selection of his work.
17th - Keith Henson - A Photo is for Life. Photographer and writer, Keith Henson enjoys the abstract elements of photography and combines his knowledge of the history of his subjects with his landscape work.
Keith is returning to judge the competition on People later in the season.
24th - Competition 3: Open - Judge TBA.
31st - Club Night Practical.
