Janet Comley being awarded her prizes
In the Portland category, Penny Piddock came second with "Moonbright" and Janet Comley third with"Sunset along Chesil".
In the Natural History category, David Cantrille came first with "Reddish Egret Shielding Light", Mary Cantrille second with"3 Cheetah cubs", Spike Piddock third with"Scorpion Fish". Also HCs were awarded to Spike for "Pygmy Seahorse" and Jane Lee for "Gentoo paddling".
In the Life category, Dee Wareham came first with "Making Fire". HCs were awarded to Geoff Wareham for "Bridging the Culture divide" and "Masai Men".
In Sea/Landscape, Jane Lee came first with "Gerlache Strait Antarctic Peninsula", David Cantrille second with "Sgwd Gwladys waterfall". An HC went to Keith Lane for "Winter Lake".
In Industry, Penny Piddock came first with "Farmers' Day off" and third with "Beehive maker". An HC went to Janet Comley for "Portland Stone, Industrial History".
In the Architecture category, Gerry Comley won first with "Hotel Foyer Cyprus" and Janet Comley third with "Old Malta". David Cantrille got an HC for "Pont du Gard".
In the General section, Janet Comley won first place with "A Bygone Age", and Geoff Wareham came second and third with ""Grasses" and "Baskets".
In the Creative section, Janet Comley came first with "Masked Beauty", Malcolm Kitto second with "Tango", Dee Wareham third with "Pot Pourri" and Jane Lee was awarded an HC for "Iris".
In Humour, Janet Comley won an HC for "Washday".
In Transport, Penny Piddock came first with "Citroen" and Gerry Comley second with "Penny-farthing". HCs went to Roy Stone for "Thai Taxi boats" and Gerry Comley for "His Bike".
In the novice section, Roma Kitto came first with ""Cathedral Roof, Vienna".
BEST IN SHOW: Janet Comley with "A Masked Beauty". Janet also won the Most Points Trophy. Many congratulations to her and to all the winners.
