Resizing images in Photoshop
1. Open image in Photoshop
2. Click on "Image" button at top of screen, then "Image size" from the drop down menu.
3. Change "Resolution" to 96 pixels/inch (if sending images by email). If submitting images on CD leave the resolution unchanged.
4. Change "width" to 1400 pixels (if in landscape format) in the Pixel Dimensions box OR change "height" to 1050 pixels (if in Portrait format) in the Pixel Dimensions box.
5. Save image as a TIFF.

If your image is not 1400 x 1050 pixels the club software will fill the height or width dimension with black to make it the correct proportion.

If handing your images to the projectionist on a disk, please create a folder named with your name and put your images, titled as above, in that.

Please ensure you flatten your images if you use layers and remove extra Channels if you use Alpha Channels. Also please ensure you save your images as 8-bit.
Go to Image - Mode - 8 bits/Channel

Failure to follow the above instructions will stop the software used for competitions from working. Therefore your images will be excluded from the competition.
