5th Sept Welcome & "2010 London Salon"
A chance to see work from one of the most prestigious UK Print Salons shown as digital Images.

We will also be explaining the new 'Mentor' system, club members with a particular skill who are prepared to share their knowledge will be identified so any member can tap into this source of help and arrange for some individual help.

12th Sept "Off the Beaten Track in Indo China"

Trips to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia mainly exploring the rural life in villages but also including some of the historic temples, palaces and Angkor Wat

19th Sept "Critique & Development"
with David Southwell ARPS

We will be asking for work in advance for David to discuss and offer helpful suggestions Use this as an opportunity to show work in progress or try out ideas. Audience participation welcome.
David is returning as a judge for our first competition

26th Sept "What a difference a Mount Makes" Chris Longridge of Longridge Cuttters
An introduction to cutting a successful bevel mount without a grief.
How to make the very best of those masterpieces we’ve all been working on.

30th September EXTRA FRIDAY SESSION in the CHURCHILL ROOM led by Dee & Geoff
Programme for the Evening
How to get your photos from the camera to computer.
How to improve them in Elements or Photoshop and how to prepare for competitions or website.
Dealing with both prints and DPI’s.

This session is at your request and is aimed at those of you who have difficulty with some of the basic resizing and post processing skills.
Please let us know if you intend to come.

3rd Oct "Members’ Evening" led by John Tilsley
Short presentations from Club members prepared to share their expertise & and experiences with the rest of us. This will include practical demonstrations.

10th Oct WCPF Exhibitions
Digital images of the Print & Digital accepted and award winning images from 2011

An opportunity to see some of the best photography from our Federation Many members enter the WCPF Annual Exhibitions but don't have the opportunity to see the final selections.
We hope that tonight will encourage you to enter in 2012.

9th Jan "Low light and Night Photography" Tony Worobiec FRPS
Tony is a well established fine-art photographer with a permanent exhibition in the Fox Talbot Museum.
He has many publications including The Complete Digital Guide to Low Light & Night Photography. Who better to cover this subject which is included as a Competition subject later in the year.
Tony will explore the many techniques for photographing in low light and at night, using a DSLR camera.

NB Please bring your short AVs for the AV night next week so we can arrange the running order.

These popular evenings show us a talent from within the two clubs

13th Feb Our Speaker is Anne Mahaney who will be showing us "Iceland"

Anne is a well known member of Fordingbridge club she is als a judge for the Southern Fed.
NB Venue is now Colliton Club.

The talk by David Clapp scheduled for tonight has been postponed.
We will be re-scheduling later in the year or next season.

5th March "Brains Trust" & "Auction" Club Night
Your questions answered. To ensure we get the people on the panel a chance to prepare photographic examples to illustrate their answers we will be asking for your questions in good time.
This is also an opportunity to Buy & Sell those items that would get a new lease of life under new ownership.
In order to list higher value items please submit details beforehand.
Photo bric brac can be brought in on the night
