Parsons Cup

The Parsons Cup is Now used for the best Section B image in the Focus on Nature Competition. It has also been used as the Trophy the Second Choice overall in the Focus on Nature.
It is one of the original Dorchester Camera Club
Trophies

" W.C.L.(Len) Parsons who donated the trophy was chairman 1948. He was a very respected Dorchester business-man who owned several gents barbers shops and tobacconists in the town and may well have had other interests as well. He was a founder member of the Club and used to produce the most superb 16 x 12 prints for the competitions. He was almost like a second grandfather to me and it was a privilege to have known him. I hope his work survives somewhere, it would be great if the Club could get hold of it. It may be in the Museum archives."
