WCPF Members Exhibition

John Tilsley hosted the evening showing us the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF) acceptances for the Members Digital Image Exhibition, held at The Corn Exchange, Exeter on 4th September.

The images were broken down into 3 categories - General, Nature and Creative. It was the first time that there had been a creative category and it proved very popular.

We were treated to a fine display of the best digital work produced by members of WCPF affiliated clubs and these included many excellent photographs from members of our own club which were always greeted with a round of applause - although we were also very appreciative of the work produced by others. It is always interesting to see what other photographers are producing and the sort of images that judges favour.

John also showed the Travelling Critique from the Members Print exhibition, though he did stress that many of these images looked a lot better as prints.

Both the print and digital exhibitions will be held again in 2012 and club members are actively encouraged to take part. John will announce dates and deadlines in due course.
