Nov 14th: Andrew Wilson:- Printed Allsorts

This evening we welcomed a former member of Dorchester Camera Club, Andrew Wilson ARPS with a talk entitled “PRINTED ALLSORTS”

This title was certainly confirmed by the wide range of Andrew’s photography, from Monochrome (which included some dark room work) to Sport, Wedding, Travel, Wildlife and some more abstract prints. On all of these subjects Andrew talked in depth about the way he approaches his photography, not only in terms of practical technique, but his feeling for what he is capturing.

Andrew is a widely respected Camera Club judge in the region, and so he was able to talk about some trends in current photography. His work drew a lot of interest from Club members during the interval, and Andrew made himself available to answer a lot of questions.

His talk was delivered with great warmth and good humour, and was rewarded by a very good round of applause at the end of a very enjoyable evening.
