Jan 9th: Low Light & Night Photography with Tony Worobiec

Monday January 9th 2012 Tony Worobiec FRPS
“Low Light & Night Photography”

Tony started the New Year with an evening of superb photography coupled with all the advice one could wish for about successful night photography.

Most people were amazed to see how landscape photography can continue until long after sunset & even in moonlight. We learnt how it is possible to balance the exposure when you have mixed lighting such as a floodlit building against a night sky and how hand held shots can be achieved in places such as fairs when it isn’t possible to use a tripod.

Tony’s reputation as a photographer and author are well known & we had a packed house for this event. Most of us went away keen to put into practice some of the hints & tips that were so freely shared.

With all this new & refreshed knowledge I’m sure we can look forward to stunning images to be submitted to our own “Low Light” Competition later this year.
