Late Night Trains by Rosie Mathisen
Late Night Trains by Rosie Mathisen

Canon 5D Mk II with Canon 24-105 f/4L lens, 13.0 seconds at f/14.0, ISO 100

This image meant setting up with a tripod around midnight once the tube trains started to return to the depot for the night. I experimented with a number of positions overlooking the depot and with the trains coming around the bend and also crossing in front of me.

I like the image because it shows the interesting effect of moving light under night-time conditions and both would be difficult to replicate.
