Canon 6D with Canon 28 –70 lens ISO 4000 - On the way back to Kiruna Airport after a photographic trip to Norway, we were caught in blizzard conditions on the pass between Norway and Sweden during a Polar storm. The road was closed to traffic following a series of accidents and dangerous cross winds. I had a camera ready to go even though photography was seemingly impossible. The headlights and street lights provided enough light to illuminate the snow plough. Our fellow traveller was coming back after talking to the snow plough driver to give us the bad news: “We’re not going anywhere”.

I like the image because it captures the moment and it still makes me shiver!
