Exmoor Trees by Jane Lee
Exmoor Trees by Jane Lee

Camera: Canon 6D - We were spending a few days on Exmoor in November and came across a view of a distant plantation with some pleasing autumn colours and patterns. I was standing on the side of a steep hill and it was blowing a gale. I was using a long lens and wanted to zoom in tight to get a ‘macro landscape’ effect but it was hard to stand up let alone keep the tripod still in the strong wind.

I liked the image for its simplicity and felt that despite the difficult conditions I had achieved my aim.
