Results of the friendly Triple Challenge Competition with Southampton and Highcliffe & Infinity, 21 April 2021
We joined Highcliffe & Infinity and Southampton Clubs on Zoom for the Triple Challenge, an annual friendly competition hosted this year by Highcliffe & Infinity. The previous Triple Challenge was the last external competition before the Coronavirus Lockdown - and it was a print and digital image battle. The 2021 competition was digital only, with each club submitting 20 images.

Dorchester won the 2021 competition by the closest possible margin with 170 points - half a point ahead of Highcliffe and Infinity (169.5), and two points ahead of Southampton (168).

Well done to Tim Downton whose ‘Glossy Ibis Tossing Grub’ was one of three images achieving a top score of 10. Susan Buckland was our second highest scorer with 9.5 for her beautiful arty ‘Common Terns’.

Images awarded a score of 9 were Jane Lee's ‘Armand Breaks Free’ which was also held back; Tony Gill's ‘The Wood Beyond the World’; Jenny Warr's ‘Marbled Whites on Pyramidal Orchids’ and Helen Jones' ‘Too Many People’.

Congratulations to everyone from Dorchester whose work contributed towards our winning score: Val Brierley, Derek Philpott, Stephen Jones, Helen Gibson, John Tilsley, Di Tilsley, Lisa Bukalders, Spike Piddock, Peter Yendell, Dee Wareham, Mary Cantrille, Jane Tearle, Penny Piddock and Stephen Lee.

Our twenty images were drawn from twenty different members, and all images were selected from those successful in the 2021 WCPF Members Exhibition. You can now see all the Dorchester images in the 2021 Triple Challenge Gallery
