Different Perspectives

Along the way he progressed through landscapes which were published in the national press and won competitions to more experimental images taken to please himself, not to get likes on Facebook.

Dan encouraged us to explore our local area and as a former Dorset resident many of his images were of familiar places but photographed in a different way often mirroring part of an image to create symmetry which he broke by retaining and deleting elements requiring the viewer to look more carefully at the final image.

This talk certainly provided ideas which some members of the Club have already begun to follow up.
