Macro Evening

A big thank you to Tim Downton and Susan Buckland for organising the evening and setting up the room. 

They had been out foraging for suitable subjects and provided a multitude of interesting and varied objects and ensured everybody had a good time. They also created an AV of images submitted to the Nature SIG during the year which showed many interesting macro and close-up images.

Thank you to Garry Prescott who had a very popular setup which included mirrors and lighting together with a laptop, monitor and an album of prints. Thanks also to Jane Lee and Penny Piddock who brought along light boxes for us to photograph a variety of macro subjects.

Finally, thanks to an unexpected visitor to the club, Ben Williams, who brought along some exotic stick insects which made unusual and fascinating subjects, especially as they obligingly kept still for most of the evening! Some of us wondered if they were actually alive… they were!

A great evening, enjoyed by all who attended.
